What is Smart Giving?
Smart Giving is the simplest way to make one-time, scheduled or designated gifts to Hillside Bible. This can be done thru our Website, our Hillside Bible Mobile App or via Text Message. Do I have to use Smart Giving?
Absolutely not. If you are comfortable with how you are currently giving, you can keep giving that way. We are using this tool to provide those that don't use cash or checks other giving options. What is Kindrid?

Does it cost me anything?
There is no charge for you to make a donation. Standard text messaging and data rates apply just like every time you send a text message or use the internet on your phone.

How long does it take for the organization to receive my donation?
When you make a donation we immediately provide the information about that donation to the receiving organization. We also send that donation as a deposit into their bank account that evening. That means it usually takes about 2-3 days between when you make a donation and when it is in the organizations bank account. This is equivalent or faster than other forms of online giving.

Is my information sent in a text message?
We never send any personal or financial information via text message. We simply facilitate the donations. Your personal and financial information is always encrypted and stored securely.

Is my Credit / Debit card Information Secure?
Yes. All financial information you provide is encrypted and stored by our banking partner to Level 1 PCI compliant standards. Level 1 PCI compliance is a set of rules stated by credit card companies and audited by an independent third party. Level 1 PCI is the highest possible rating. Additionally, all transmission to our banking partner and on our site is via an encrypted HTTPS connection.

How will my phone number be used?
Your phone number is used only to make donating as easy as possible. It will never be sold, traded, or given out. You will only be texted to confirm your donations and for no other reason. How will I know when my credit card is charged?

What if I accidentally type the wrong amount?
When you make a donation, you will receive a text confirmation that re-states the amount given. If you made a mistake in typing you can respond with the word REFUND within the first 15 minutes and your credit or debit card will not be charged. After 30 minutes you can contact us at sayhello@kindrid.com and a refund can be issued for you.

Is it case sensitive? Do I have to put a $ symbol?
No! Donations will work as 100 or $100 or $100.00 or 100.00 etc. Also there is nothing that is case sensitive.

How do I unlink my Smartphone from mobile giving?

How do I edit my information?
If you need to change your credit card information, name, or email address simple text the word EDIT to your church's Smart Giving number.
